Happy Bear-thday!

Hi friends - it's HUMP DAY, we are halfway to the weekend - woot, woot!

And please make certain you are sitting down...I, yes I, created a card WITHOUT FLOWERS! I know, I know - possibly the most shocking news you've received this week, yes? LOL

I finally inked up the Diagonal Design background and embossed on white card stock; I sponged on lots of Spun Sugar using Picked Raspberry around the edges. I used MFT's Blueprints for the main panel - I never put that die set away; I think I use it on almost every single card!

Fun on the inside too!

I set that aside and cut a wonky circle, stamped the bear, masked and stamped the presents. Some Copic coloring and shading with pencils finished the images off. I added a strip of vellum, some thread and enamel dots. I curved the sentiment on an acrylic block so it would follow the shape of the circle...and I stamped the image again in pink on the inside panel (see above), adds that extra surprise to the inside!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great rest of your week!

Hugs!

  6. Hi Michele, what a great card! I love the colours you've used, especially that pink for the background which you've repeated in the balloon and the gifts. The diagonals in the background really add a sense of celebration and certainly spotlight that adorable bear beautifully. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
